Buck's Northwest Landscaping, LLC has been conducting professional grounds maintenance and landscaping services for just over 36 years. Pictured are the Owners Rusty Buckmaster (right), and son Cody Buckmaster (left). Rusty is the founder of the company, and oversees all operations. As of April 2016, we officially promoted Cody to Co-Owner of the business. As a family owned and operated company, our mission is to provide our clients with the best landscaping and lawn maintenance services in a safe and professional manner.
The company was started in 1987 serving just the Port Angeles area, and has now evolved to cover the Olympic Peninsula. We have a passion for our work, and we enjoy making friends with each project and account. We are always open to new clients, and provide our services to both residential and commercial properties. OUR INSPIRATION:
We have been fortunate enough to have such an inspirational, knowledgable and wonderful woman help us on our journey as a company. Cody's Ur Oma (German for Great-Grandmother), was the one who helped Rusty with the idea of landscaping and some help with funding our startup all those 30+ years ago. A very talented and revered farmer/landscaper from the state of New York, she has been our biggest inspiration through the years. Prized for everything from Sweet Corn, to Dahlia's, to Tomatoes or Geraniums (and everything in-between), she was truly a national treasure. Some of her stories from her times back east are enough to write books about, and we enjoyed every one we had the privilege to hear. Locally, she had "Gertie's Farmers Market" for years and years--helping bring beautiful plants and vegetables to the area for decades. Even after, she could still be found along the side of highways with her tables and truck setup. We're very thankful for her, and she will always be our inspiration--and our hero.

Buck's Northwest Landscaping has taken care of our 5 acre rental property in Sequim, Washington since 2013 and I can highly recommend them as an outstanding company. They not only maintain our property with regular mowing and trimming but also take care of pruning the shrubs when it is required. Cody and Rusty and their crew have also taken care of removing fallen trees as well as potentially hazardous trees and have helped us in purchasing and planting new trees for our property. I've made so many mistakes over the last 3 years in learning to garden where the climate, plants, and soil are all new to me. Finding someone who consistently shows up when they say they will, on time even, and charges a fee commensurate with their knowledge and skills rather than what the people they aspire to be like are worth (but they aren't yet) has also been frustrating, costly, and the reason for some of those mistakes. I know many of my friends and neighbors have had that problem, too.
Finding someone who is reliable AND knows plants, planting, and all about conditions here AND is willing to work with me regularly but intermittently, rather than weekly or biweekly -- well, that's has been the impossible dream.
All of this is why I'm so delighted to find Cody Buckmaster and his crew. He's certified, even, and is also easygoing, kind, and an easy-to-like guy, so I hope to work with him happily ever after.

I highly recommend Bucks Northwest Landscaping! They took my yard from an open field of unven grass and turned it I to a beautiful oasis! They took great pride in their work and their excitement in my dream kept me fueled with excitement! Customer Service appears to be number 1 with great detail to everything they touched! Love my yard and loved the relationships built and great communication...definitely a 5 out of 5!
